Summer 2004
Nomar is a very busy man, when not recording, he's performing in the New England area. His latest project is a synthetic hiphop collab with Brzowski , entitled Raygunomics:The Sputnik EP...and he has also contributed a beat for ID Obelus' latest.
state your name: Nomar Slevik
fvorite waste of time? myspace/AIM
preferred sleeping position? with lady friend, spooning, without, on me back
morning rituals? feed kitties, pee, shower
superstitous? oh yes, but it might also have a bleeding edge into compulsion - like if I don't check something 5-6 times then all hell will break loose, na mean?
have you seen a ghost? I have never seen one, but one might have pulled some ish though.... opening a door after I had closed and locked it
what scares you? losing my family and global government
is anything better than time travel ? sex, the mind, people
most desired super power? being invisible I think...whenever I want
worst on-stage experience? ...at a show back in April, I just finished having a pretty fun set and crowd was enjoying it. Then the DJ for me at that show, Moshe, he's like, c'mon, one more and the crowd was like yeah, please. This DJ is also a producer with an album coming..I did a song with him and he was like, yo, let's do that new track...so I was like, word and told the crowd they were happy and the beat starts then I completely forgot the vocals.
current listening choice? Id Obelus - 88 Oranges - any mp3s mayonnaise sends me - RPM instrumentals and the new John Frusciante
an album that will always be fresh? D.O.C. - No One Can Do It Better
an idea you wish was yours The singing on Grand Buffet's "Benjamin Franklin Music" and umm, John Titor story
upcoming project? first is a project entitled "Camp Krege", which is a 62 minutes of instrumental weirdness from me and this producer from Chicago called , Node. Then after that is "Sasquatch: The Great Dying" which will be a proper solo full length follow up to Purple Lights and April Foolishness with virtually no guest MCs, but there is some guest production and the album will be co-executively produced by jdwalker and dj mayo
